    Locate an Iron Deposit or Copper Deposit on a planet. You can visit the Mining Bureau to locate an available deposit.

  2. 2

    Approach the detected deposit and scan it

  3. 3

    Press Descend over a flat surface to descend until you land close to the deposit

  4. 4

    No deposit was found nearby. Take off and find another location.

  5. 5

    Deploy the Quantum Beacon using Deploy Beacon

  6. 6

    Equip the Quantum Beacon using Menu Character

  7. 7

    Craft a Quantum Beacon

  8. 8

    Gather Calcified Invariant and study them at the Laboratory Use your Encyclopedia Menu Encyclopedia to find the matching resource

  9. 9

    Take the Beacon Key linked to the beacon back to the nearest Mining Bureau
